Hi, I’m Amy Cesari, author & illustrator of… the Coloring Book of Shadows (and this is my cat, Cornelius). And I’m thrilled to share this sneak preview of… the Planner for a Magical 2021.

So, you may have noticed that it can be easy to fall out of sync with your magical and spiritual practices. Especially when — well, let’s face it!!! 2020 has been a bit of a s#!t show. Nearly everyone’s plans have been delayed or totally derailed.

And that’s why this planner isn’t really about planning. You can plan all you want… but… things will still happen that are outside of your control. 

This planner is more about connecting to the magic of who you are—to a higher power or the power within yourself, whatever that is for you. 

So just imagine the possibilities of how you’d feel — or even what you could do if you lived life connected to your magic all year. Even if things fall apart, you’ve got that solid rock beneath you to pick yourself up.

And that’ why I made this book. It’s all about fun, simple, witchy ways to stay in the flow and energy of the seasons, the moon, and your own magical self.

This year, for 2021, I’ve got some NEW themes and topics that I’m so excited to share.

One of them is… alchemy! Yes! Spiritual alchemy and the quest for the philosopher’s stone or gold within yourself. It’s one of the roots of modern magic, and I’ve added art and info on how to start using these alchemical principles to transform yourself.

I also added — deities! So—honest truth here,—I’ve had a real block around my skills around drawing people since I was a little kid. But I can now finally say that I overcame that.

I drew some really playful and also powerful and awesome deities for the first time ever! It was an honor and I loved it.

 So whether you’re a new or a more experienced witch, there are so many ideas and activities here to see where your magic can take you even when plans change or things happen around you.

I hope this book will provide you with visual inspiration —  to transport you to a place of magic every day — whether or not you color the pictures.
